How aligner treatment is planned
It starts with an intraoral scan that reproduces the mouth in three dimensions. On that model the whole route is planned: which tooth moves, how far, and in what order. You can see the simulation before deciding anything.
What it can fix
Most crowding, gaps between teeth and alignment problems in adults. Significant skeletal discrepancies may need support from other techniques, and that is settled at the initial workup rather than discovered halfway through.
Easier to keep clean
Because the trays come out, brushing and flossing carry on normally, without the corners and wires of fixed braces. For anyone with a history of gum disease or a tendency to decay, that is a real advantage rather than a selling point.

01 How many hours a day do I need to wear the aligners?
Around 22 hours a day. They come out to eat and to brush. It is the factor that most determines whether the planned timeline is met.
02 Will people notice them?
They are clear and fit closely to the tooth, so they go unnoticed in normal interaction. There may be a slight speech adjustment in the first few days.
03 Are clear aligners suitable for my case?
For most crowding, spacing and alignment corrections, yes. Severe skeletal malocclusions may need a different approach. That is determined by the initial study.
04 What happens when treatment finishes?
A retainer is fitted, fixed or removable. Without retention teeth tend to drift back: the retention phase is not optional.
